What is it?
Parko is a mobile app that lets you know if you can park your car at a given spot and for how long. It’s built for street parking.
How does it work?
When you’re about to park your car, the Parko app tells you in simple terms:
Once your car is parked, Parko starts a timer and sends you SMS reminders to move your car before your parking time expires.
Is it free to use?
Yes, absolutely.
Does this app tell me where I can find parking?
Not yet. Parko makes parking signs less complicated for drivers and helps them to avoid fines.
The more people use the Parko app, the easier it becomes to find street parking.
Where can I download it?
We are launching the Parko app in February, 2026. It’ll be available on both IOS and Android.

Does this app know every street parking spot in Melbourne?
Not yet. Initially, you can use the Parko app in Melbourne CBD.
In the future, we’ll be adding more street parking from different suburbs to the Parko app.
